Obama's personal cook made Senior Policy Advisor

Saturday 31st of July 2010 02:41:37 AM
Posted by admin / Under Personal Knowbase

President Barack Obama (D) is treating his multi gazillion dollar spend our way out of debt and unemployment stimulus as his own private make work program, tossing taxpayer dollars to favored constituents, such as unions, and to favored areas, such as his home city of Chicago. And now he's making it even more private, choosing his family's personal cook, Sam Kass, imported from Chicago, as...Senior Policy Advisor for Healthy Food Initiatives. As reported in Judicial Watch, prior to his latest elevation Michelle Obama made Kass a "Food Initiative Coordinator" for her new healthy nutrition program which is supposed to eliminate...

(Vanity) Seeking College Scholarship Info

Saturday 31st of July 2010 02:41:37 AM
Posted by admin / Under Personal Knowbase

A vanity request here. I am looking for information on sources to look up and apply for college scholarships. The problem is, as a *conservative* white male, I am too responsible to be eligible for Obama's "free money" (remember he's all about redistributing wealth to the "rightful owners" [sic]), but not yet rich enough that I can pay the costs out of pocket for a top school, or even a mid-tier school. And there is more than one up-and-coming high schooler in the family. Wondering about either merit-based scholarships open to white males (as if), or fellowships / scholarships /...

The Rainbow Fish President - Barack Obama's Fishy Foreign Policy

The Rainbow Fish President - Barack Obama's Fishy Foreign Policy Monday, 24 May 2010 19:45 by Emile Husson In the childrens’ story “The Rainbow Fish”, by Swiss author Marcus Pfister, a fish made unique and magnificent by virtue of his colorful scales is reviled and shunned by his peers for his refusal to share them. Of course, the only thing his peers have to offer is their friendship and future silence regarding Rainbow Fish’s selfishness in their eyes. Okay, friendship here is actually the cessation of insult and verbal attack, and with friends like that, who needs sharks cruising the...

The backlash: Reform turns personal

Saturday 31st of July 2010 02:41:37 AM
Posted by admin / Under Personal Knowbase

Louise Slaughter and Bart Stupak have received death threats. A tea party participant published what he thought was Thomas Perriello’s home address and urged disgruntled voters to “drop by” for a “good face-to-face chat.” Vandals broke windows at Slaughter’s office in New York and Gabrielle Giffords’s office in Arizona. And angry voters are planning to protest this weekend at the home of Steve Driehaus — who’s already seen a photograph of his children used in a newspaper ad published by reform opponents. The vitriolic health care debate has become personal — too personal, say House Democrats who voted for the...

Obama: “The Louisiana Purchase would cover an earthquake in Hawaii”?

Saturday 31st of July 2010 02:41:37 AM
Posted by admin / Under Personal Knowbase

"This moment, from Bret Baier’s interview on Fox News with Obama, might just be one of the biggest “WTF?!” moments from Obama’s presidency yet. Obama is either completely making things up, living in an alternate reality, or really, really confused. Actually, my guess is that’s it’s probably a combination of all three. Apparently, there was a devastating earthquake in Hawaii that we all somehow missed. Oh, wait, no. That’s right. There was no earthquake, and Obama is just totally clueless, as usual. In fact, the last earthquake in Hawaii to cause any deaths at all was in 1975, and two...

It's 2010 - finally my jet pack is here!

Saturday 31st of July 2010 02:41:37 AM

It's been a long time coming. While Arthur C. Clarke's satellites have taken to space, and James Bond's futuristic mobile technology has become common place, still the dream of sustained personal flight has eluded us. But the future is here! Finally we can all take flight as Martin Aircraft in New Zealand releases the first commercially-available jet pack! A bit of history... Like many science fiction concepts, the jetpack design has become firmly entrenched in the collective psyche: ask anyone to draw you a jetpack and they will give you a man with two fiery pods strapped to his back...

My Rant on the GOP (Vanity)

Saturday 31st of July 2010 02:41:37 AM
Posted by admin / Under Personal Knowbase

When rubber must meet road, the GOP is as clear as the mud in a Louisiana swamp. Oh, they talk a good game; but, in the end, they act no different than the Democrats. Somewhere in Washington D.C. there must exist a vast graveyard of detached spines... since I have yet to encounter a sitting Republican who is still in possession of his, and the Democrats never had one to begin with … except when it comes to screwing the American people – then they are indefatigable juggernauts, while the Republicans practice their knitting. The GOP is infested by a...

Do You Have A Blog? If So What Is The URL?

Saturday 31st of July 2010 02:41:37 AM
Posted by admin / Under Personal Knowbase

With the explosion of opinionated blogs on the web, and any of a number of sites that will give anyone a chance to blog for free, I was wondering how many Freepers have a blog. If you have one, would you mind sharing your URL address and a little blurb about the theme of your blog. Many here know that I have two blogs, one for my political beliefs and one for my religious beliefs. For me I use the political one as a repository for the articles I write for my local news paper, the Enterprise Record. My religious...

Baucus denounces video as ‘personal smear’

Saturday 31st of July 2010 02:41:37 AM
Posted by admin / Under Personal Knowbase

Sen. Max Baucus' office Monday denounced a widely viewed Internet video that suggested Baucus was drunk on the Senate floor last week, calling it an "untrue, personal smear" designed to attack Democrats' health-care reform legislation. "This is beyond the pale, and this type of gutter politics has no place in the public sphere," said Baucus spokesman Ty Matsdorf.
