GOP's Brown wins Mass. Senate seat in epic upset

BOSTON In an epic upset in liberal Massachusetts, Republican Scott Brown rode a wave of voter anger to defeat Democrat Martha Coakley in a U.S. Senate election Tuesday that left President Barack Obama's health care overhaul in doubt and marred the end of his first year in office. The loss by the once-favored Coakley for the seat that the late Sen. Edward M. Kennedy held for nearly half a century signaled big political problems for the president's party this fall when House, Senate and gubernatorial candidates are on the ballot nationwide.

As rivals who consider Mike Huckabee soft on immigration ramp up their attacks, the former Arkansas governor acknowledged Thursday that his position on the issue may cost him votes. Huckabee for weeks now has been criticized for his 2005 support of state-sponsored scholarships for illegal immigrants. Legislation to provide the tuition aid failed in the Arkansas Senate. "If it costs me the election, it costs me the election," he told reporters at a luncheon on Capitol Hill. But...

Observing today that we are now limited to four topic/category selections when posting an article. I post articles almost every day, and today was the first I've seen of this, so this was just put in place. This is less of a question than a notification. It's not an inconvenience to me, although I would like to know why. Did I miss a mod lecture?
